1.) Do you need to be a member to participate in drills at Nakoma?
To play tennis at Nakoma, you must be a Nakoma member. Please read more about our guest policy in our next question.

2.) What is your Non-Member / Guest policy?
We do offer 5 guest passes each season to any individual(s) who want to try out drills, take a lesson, or to play with other Nakoma members. Members can bring an unlimited number of guests, but each guest is only allowed 5 passes a seaon . The daily guest fee for tennis is $7.50 charged to the member's account.

3.) Do I need to reserve a court if I want play for fun?
Reserving a court is encouraged, but not necessary. Available court time is first come, first serve, unless the court is reserved by another member. To see if courts are available, you may check our online court reservation program (Click Here for Court Availability). To reserve a court, you must call the tennis pro shop at 608-210-3831.

4.) Does Nakoma have a Ball Machine?
Yes. The ball machine is available to use by any Nakoma member. There is no fee to use the ball machine. It is recommended to call the pro shop at 608-210-3831 to reserve a court and the ball machine. If you need assistance setting up the ball machine, any tennis staff can assist you.

5.) How do I know if class/drill is cancelled?
Please refer to the weather section on the homepage of this website, www.NakomaTennis.com. You will see a green box with text, "Drills on Schedule". If class is cancelled, you will see a red box with text, "(Name of class) is Cancelled." Drill cancellations are usually listed 30 mins prior to drill. If a junior drill is cancelled due to weather, the child can make up the class during the same class on different days (please let instructor know prior to drill).

6.) My child missed a drill. Can they make up the class?
Yes. If your child misses class due to sickness or conflict, they are allowed to make up the class. They can attend the same class, but on a different day. You must make up classes within the same session (e.i. A spring class must be made up in the spring). Please let instructor know prior to the make up. Child is only allowed to make up two classes.

If child misses class due to weather (for instance, drill was cancelled), then they can make the class up as well. Child can make up the class for every cancellation due to weather.
